Dye-ing in the name of beauty

Women who dye their hair more than 9 times a year, have a 60% greater risk of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, says Dr Yawei Zhang of Yale School of Public Health in USA.

Those that use dark hair dyes are 50-70% more likely to develop folicular lymphoma, a non-aggressive blood cancer, according to the study reported in the American Journal of Epidemiology.

While most women (and some men too) cannot stop dye-ing, but if you plan to continue exposing yourself to toxins, then do make sure you take some powerful antioxidants which will lower your cancer risk.

Some powerful anti-oxidants you can consider are Phytopath, Daily Produce24 and Native Legend Tea.

Looking good is one thing, but feeling good and living well is more important. So remember, feeling better and being cancer free, will certainly make you look better!.
